Global Harmonized System
The availability of thermal transfer label materials, with different technical characteristics, now makes it possible to choose the most suitable material for each individual application.
The following table refers to the materials that FPE normaly uses :
– AA648, adhesive AL170, 80μm glossy white outdoor PVC, solvent-based permanent acrylic adhesive. Resistance up to 7 years in outdoor environment Temperature range: -80° +110°C UL certified Self-extinguishing according to FMVSS 30 Data sheet
–AF207 TUFF, S455N adhesive, 110µm matt white polyethylene, rubber-based adhesive for difficult applications

XC for printing in two colours
With the new XC series, new opportunities emerge in the labelling sector. Two thermal transfer printing units arranged in succession enable the simultaneous printing of two colours. The first printing unit is equipped with a ribbon saver. The XC4 and XC6 comply with all the requirements of the new classification and labelling obligations for chemicals according to the GHS (Global Harmonised System). The new XC series has a solid die-cast aluminium metal cover. It is ideal for large label rolls up to 300mm diameter. New but already approved: the electronics, operating panel and both printing mechanisms are native to our A+ industrial printers.
